"I Used To Be..." is an artfully captured collection of Gail Ann Dorsey’s personal insights and reflections. Her compositions range from rock, to funk, to country, and pop in it's purest sense. The album, in addition to Gail's stellar vocal, guitar and bass performances features Catherine Russell from the Bowie band, drummer Zach Alford (previously of David Bowie band) and a host of renowned musicians from Gail's Woodstock, NY community. "I Used to Be" features two collaborations between Gail Ann Dorsey and Roland Orzabal of Tears for Fears: "Be My Angel" and "Whether You are the One.
